Alumina ceramic foam brick can be used as the heat-insulating layer of the refractory lining on the hot side, especially the high-temperature reducing atmosphere furnace (1850 °C). It can be used for a long time under 1800 °C air and reducing atmosphere.

Used on a gas welding table and withstands the over blow of the hot gasses well. It works well for my use.
I use it for brazing and silver welding operations. These well-made bricks are very suitable for this application. If you need a heat-resistant surface for welding or brazing, I highly recommend these ceramic bricks.
